Morning Line ("the app") is developed by Hassan Nawaz Khan ("we", "us", "our").

Summary

Morning Line has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address, or any other personal details. Your quotes, favorites, reading progress, and settings stay on your device.

The app is free and supported by advertising, shown through Google AdMob. An optional one-time Remove ads purchase is handled by Google Play or the App Store, with RevenueCat keeping track of whether you have made it. These services collect some data, described below. We do not sell your data.

Data stored only on your device

Reading position, favorites, theme choice, and notification time
Quote-of-the-day and daily reading counts

This stays on your device. We have no servers and never receive it. If you add the home-screen or Lock Screen widget, the app shares a set of quotes with the widget, and that data also stays on your device.

Data collected by third-party services

Advertising — Google AdMob

To show ads, measure how they perform, and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

Device identifiers, including the advertising ID on Android. On iOS, Morning Line never asks for tracking permission, so AdMob does not get the device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location
Device and app information, such as model, operating system, and language
Ad interactions, such as ads viewed or tapped

Ads may be personalized to your interests where the law allows it. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Controlling ad personalization:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (or turn off ads personalization).
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In-app purchase — RevenueCat, Google Play, and the App Store

If you buy or restore Remove ads, the purchase is processed by Google Play or Apple. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and receipt information, and basic device details so it can confirm the purchase and restore it on a new device. Notifications

The daily "Quote of the Day" notification is scheduled locally on your device. We send no push notifications and use no notification server.

Data sharing

Apart from the ad and purchase services described above, which process data under their own privacy policies, we share no data with anyone. We do not sell personal data.

Children's privacy

Morning Line is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored on your device.
Buying Remove ads stops ads from being shown.
